Here i have made a mood board that is full of imagery that i felt illustrated the concept of fishing. i will use this imagery as a reference while designing ideas for my logo.
This is a mood board that shows much different sustainable seafood companiesThis is an image of the first set of rough designs that i have made. I feel that the design in the top right-hand corner has potential. I also think that the design beneath this image also has some positive aspects. even though i feel this way i believe that these designs are slightly too detailed and are not sophisticated enough to use for this company’s logo.This is an image of the rough designs that i have made while thinking about logo ideas. As i was making these designs i was looking to create designs That possessed a slightly more professional and simple design. I have ensured to include designs that feature images of fish, boats and hooks as i felt that these images well represented the fact that this company is a fishing company.This is a design i had made that shows an image of a fishing boat that has fish falling from out a wave into the fishing boat. i had designed this image as i thought that it well illustrated the concept of fishing. even though I think that this image well expresses the fact that Caribbean blue is a fishing company, i think that this image is not suitable to feature in a logo design as it possesses to much detail and i believe that this unessasary details will distract viewers attention away from the meaning behind this image.Here i have designed four new logo design ideas. all of which have been created using the first black and white logo idea that can bee seen taking place at the very top of this page. the fish that i have designed possessing a fishing hook tail was designed inspired by the styling of traditional fishing lures. I believe that the most successful logos among these designs is the pale blue and dark blue logo design in the bottom left hand corner and the logo that is adjacent to this design in the bottom right-hand corner. i believe that these two designs are successful as i feel that the colour scheme that these two designs share stands out the viewer well through its strong contrast i have made using two very different shades of blue. I also think that these logo designs would be very visible while featuring on this company’s products. even though u feel that these logos are very attention-grabbing and expressive i do not think that these logos are at a professional standard. therefor i will look to create different logo designs that reach a more professional standard.This is my final Caribbean blue logo design. for this task, I have designed an image of a fishing boat sailing on calm waters with a sun taking place behind the boat’s sails. I have chosen to use this image as I felt that the use of a fishing boat illustrated the fact that this is a fishing-based company. I have also used the image of the sun to express the fact that the Caribbean is a very sunny and tropical place while also using these shades of blue to illustrate the word blue belonging to this company’s name. to add to this I have chosen to place this image in a circular frame due to the fact that this shape is so intrinsically linked to the idea of sustainability that I felt that by using this shape well reflected the fact that Caribbean blue is a sustainable seafood company
